Job Description:

Our Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) Tax team is focused on providing the full spectrum of tax services to private equity, across funds, deals and portfolio companies on a wide scope of transactional work both domestically and internationally. We support clients from the initial proposal stage through to completion and post-deal advice in various sectors from technology to retail.

This role will involve technical tax application, extensive client interaction, and organizational skills. As an Associate Director in the TAS Tax team, you will provide tax structuring advice, undertake tax due diligence, and work on public company transactions.

We are looking for individuals interested in a career in M&A tax, with qualifications such as ACA, CA CTA, ADIT or equivalent. Experience in UK tax practices, client handling, project management, and technical tax matters is essential. Strong Excel and Power Point skills are required.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide tax structuring advice and undertake tax due diligence on transactions
  • Lead discussions with clients, legal advisers, and target management
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for business development
  • Prepare structuring reports, review forecast models, and manage project budgets
  • Conduct technical tax research and oversee team training and development
Qualifications:
  • Qualified chartered accountant or tax adviser
  • Experience in UK corporation tax compliance, M&A, and other tax issues
  • Strong client handling, project management, and prioritization skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and Power Point
