Think FE is working on an exciting opportunity with a Northamptonshire based college. This role has arisen for a dedicated professional to lead the creation, implementation, and delivery of a college's Careers Strategy. This pivotal role within the Student Experience department is instrumental in enhancing student outcomes and ensuring compliance with the Gatsby Benchmarks of good practice. Role Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Oversee a team of Careers and Education Guidance Officers, driving excellence in careers education and guidance. Student Support: Provide one-to-one support to students in line with annual intervention targets. Resource Development: Create and refine careers resources tailored to student needs. Stakeholder Engagement: Promote careers services to staff, students, employers, and parents/guardians. Accreditation Maintenance: Maintain the Matrix accreditation and lead initiatives for new careers accreditations. Event Coordination: Organise a range of onsite careers activities and events. Candidate Profile: Qualifications: Level 6 Careers Advice and Guidance recognised qualification. Experience: Proven experience in providing careers education and guidance, organising cross-college events, and working within Further Education. Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational abilities. Requirements: Valid driving license for travel across sites. Benefits: Salary: £30,203.00 - £34,022.00 per annum (Support Spine - Band 9). Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week (weekend and evening work may be required based on business needs). Part-time hours considered for the right candidate. Annual Leave: 33 days per annum. Pension Scheme: 24.7% employer contribution to the Local Government Pension Scheme.
