Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant Location: England, Greater London, WimbledonJob Type: Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hoursPrimary Industry: Education and TrainingSalary: £83.85 - £100 Per dayBenefits: PAYESkills: Autistic Spectrum Condition, Social Emotional Mental Health, Severe Learning Disabilities.Job Duties: Provide support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).Assist in the implementation of Educatinal Health and Care Plans (EHCP's).Support students with Autistic Spectrum Condition and Social Emotional Mental Health needs.Work closely with teachers to create a supportive learning environment.Help students to access the curriculum and participate in classroom activities.Provide one-to-one support as required. Required Qualifications: Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths.Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.Previous experience working with children with SEND. Education: Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3)Experience: Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of Autistic Spectrum Condition and Social Emotional Mental Health.Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents.Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting children with SEND. Preferred Qualifications: First Aid certificationMental Health First Aid training Working Conditions: Work in a school settingFull-time hours, Monday to Friday 8:30-15:30Supportive team environment All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
