Having seen exceptional growth, the Technical Lead will be crucial in setting the stage for international expansion and product growth. You'll work closely with Engineering Leadership and the CTO to align technical strategy, drive key projects, and ensure seamless collaboration between Engineering and Product teams. This role is ideal for an Engineering leader with aspirations to step into Senior Leadership within a rapidly scaling FinTech in the near future. Key Responsibilities: - Lead engineering roadmaps, manage software engineering squads, and ensure platform stability. - Foster collaboration within remote engineering teams. - Drive product enhancements to improve the customer experience. - Analyse performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement. - Manage and mentor a team of 3-4+ engineers, providing guidance and development opportunities. Who You Are: - 1+ years of experience managing teams of 3+ engineers. - 5+ years in Software Engineering with hands-on experience in software engineering - Proven hands-on programming experience, ideally in Node, React, TypeScript or Kotlin, Java - Solid experience building and scaling web apps and websites. - Focused on delivering customer-first products and solutions. - Experience in FinTech, finance, or similar start-ups or scale-ups. - Comfortable working in remote environments and managing remote teams.
