Business Development Manager

Do you have experience of sales within the Fire and Security sector? We are representing a UK based company who specialise in providing fire safety, security & access control solutions for commercial and public sector clients.

Offering a range of security & fire solutions from CCTV, Intruder alarms, access control, emergency lighting and fire alarms, they cater a variety of industries such as office spaces, educational facilities, hospitals, retail & hospitality arenas.

We are looking for a results driven Business Development Manager join our clients growing sales team to contribute to their expanding client base across the U.K.

Role Overview

• Responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing long -term relationships with clients and promoting our clients wide range of fire & security solutions.
• Identify, target & acquire new clients across various sectors such as corporate offices, healthcare, education, retail & hospitality.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their security & fire safety needs.
• Solution selling is a must; presenting tailored fire & security solutions that align with the clients requirements.
• Have a strong understanding of sales strategy; develop & execute sales plans to achieve targets and company goals.
• Conduct site surveys to ensure clients needs are assessed to enable the proposal of correct quotations.
• Strong negotiation skills; negotiate contracts & pricing with clients.
• Collaboration of technical and operational understanding internally to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and services to clients.

Key Skills

• Proven sales experience in the fire and security sector.
• Industry knowledge; a good understanding of fire alarms, CCTV, access control & security systems including relevant UK regulations and standards.
• Strong written & verbal communication
