Semi Senior Accountant

Are you studying towards ACCA and looking for your next accounts position? AAT qualified/ part qualified ACCA , Semi Senior Accountant required to join an award winning medium sized Accountancy practice based in the Camden area of London. You will be working within a multiple partner firm with a wealth of experience, who are offering study support to help aspiring Accountants excellerate their finance careers! This Semi Senior role is suitable for an experienced Mid-level Accountant with at least 2 years' experience within a multiple partner practice, who is looking to build on their knowledge of VAT, Management accounts and year end accounts work. Semi Senior Accountant Position Overview Preparing statutory accounts and year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships Bookkeeping - on site with clients and in the central office Monthly and quarterly management accounts Client VAT returns Working closely on time sheets within budget and time restraints Semi Senior Accountant Position Requirements 2 years' experience within an accountancy practice is necessary Experience with the software CCH is highly advantageous AAT qualification as a minimum and actively working towards ACA / ACCA Qualifications - study support is available Experienced as an Accounts Assistant, or Junior Accountant, Trainee Accountant in practice seeking a step up into a Semi-senior role, or an established Semi Senior looking for more complex accounts work Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to complete assignments within time constraints and deadlinesSemi Senior Accountant Position Remuneration £28,000 - £33,000 per annum - flexible dependant on experience *Study support package - 2 weeks per exam 4% employer pension contribution * 2 days Hybrid working *Annual leave buy & sell scheme * interest free season ticket loans *long service awards *Life assurance scheme *employee benefits portal Based in the Camden area of London *After successful probation period Bennett and Game Recruitment are a multi-disciplined technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the UK with specialist teams covering a range of industries.
