Quality Inspector

Quality Inspector Contek are recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join a busy and established company in Norwich. This role would be ideal for either junior or experienced inspectors looking for a company that offers progression and an engaging work place. You must have experience as an inspector to be successful in your application as we need a good understanding of engineering principles and how to navigate a drawing. Responsibilities; * First off, in process and final inspection of components using primarily manual inspection methods * Use of calipers, micrometers, slip gauges, height gauges, plug & ring gauges, depth gauges, thread gauges, surface finish measuring equipment * Using a CMM to inspect components * Work to drawings where you work with close tolerances * Ensure customer quality requirements are being met. Experience required; * Experience using manual inspection methods. * Ability to work to engineering drawings. * Familiar with CMM or ability to learn it quickly. * Can work as a team or individually off your own initiative. * Excellent organisational skills. The hours are as follows; Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 17:00 Friday 08:00 - 13:00 Overtime is available in this position.
