Job Title: Finance Assistant Location: Didcot Quarter (near Milton Park), Abingdon Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 (pro rata if part time) depending on experience Job Type: Full time/Part time, Permanent The Company: Simon Hegele provide specialist logistics support to leading high tech manufacturers and resellers. We are a well-established and successful company with a reputation for quality and professionalism with business operations worldwide. In 2021 our UK team moved to a custom designed 120,000 square foot logistics facility to accommodate our business growth and expanding Customer base. You will be joining a very capable and close-knit team promoting a safe working environment with opportunities to develop your capabilities and career. The Role: Do you thrive in a small team where your contribution really makes a difference? We are looking for a meticulous individual to support our Financial Controller with the financial administration of the Company's UK operation. This role may suit an experienced finance administrator looking for a new challenge or an up and coming administrator looking to hone your accounting skills and gain experience in a dedicated finance role. Key Responsibilities: Process supplier invoices in XERO accounting system, allocate cost codes and update purchase order records Raise monthly sales invoices in the XERO accounting system. Reconciliation of credit card, fuel card and petty cash and posting associated entries Post and reconcile the company's bank accounts Liaise daily with our colleagues in Germany about all of the above transactions for group reporting purposes Collate data and prepare payroll spreadsheet for the external payroll bureau.
