Have you worked in a workshop or with machinery before? Or do you have an interest in working with sheet metal machinery? If so then we are looking for a candidate to join a medical manufacturing company in Braintree.
As a machine operator you will be operating punching, notching and bending machinery. You will need to demonstrate the ability to work in a busy production environment and be physically fit enough to lift metal.
Starting salary would be circa 12ph, but if you can already use machinery and have worked as a fabricator, the starting salary could would be higher.
Working hours are 07:00-15:30 or 08:00-16:30 Monday to Friday, so you can choose your start time!
What will you be doing?
- Operating punch press, laser cutter, press brakes etc.
- Working from engineering drawings
- Spot welding and other duties as required
- Working with CNC machinery
- Assisting other departments as needed
