About you:
- Qualification: Mental Health Nurse with a valid UK NMC PIN.
- Management Experience: Significant senior management experience at the Hospital Director level or higher, preferably in an acute care setting.
- Financial & Operational Management: Proven track record in managing financial and operational aspects effectively.
- Change Leadership: Experience in leading service improvements and transformational change initiatives.
- Project Management: Skilled in managing complex projects and fostering effective partnerships with stakeholders.
- Leadership Style: Dynamic, passionate, open, participative, and supportive approach to leadership.
As a Hospital Director, you will be responsible for:
- Strategic Leadership: Consult with medical, business, and community groups to address service issues, enhance public relations, coordinate activities, and promote health programs.
- Policy Development: Develop and implement organisational policies and procedures to ensure high standards of care and compliance with regulations.
- Mental Health Oversight: Lead on assessments and treatments related to the Mental Health Act 1983, ensuring appropriate care delivery.
- Recruitment & Training: Direct the recruitment, hiring, and training of personnel to build a competent and compassionate workforce.
- Supervision & Evaluation: Oversee the work activities of all personnel, including medical, nursing, technical, and clerical staff, ensuring effective service delivery.
- Resource Management: Monitor the use of inpatient beds, facilities, and staff to ensure efficient resource utilisation and assess the need for additional resources.
- Financial Management: Conduct and administer fiscal operations, including budget planning, authorising expenditures, and coordinating financial reporting.
- Compliance & Safety: Inspect facilities and recommend modifications to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations.
- Program Development: Develop and implement health services that promote research, rehabilitation, and community health.
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare activity reports to inform management of program statuses, quality initiatives, and service utilisation.
