Field Service Engineer

Field Service Technician Permanent role offering: £27,000 - £29,000 salary - 37.5rs a week. (Overtime and other ways of increasing earnings are available) Location: Weston-super-Mare / Bristol area (approx. 50mile radius) Benefits: Company Vehicle + Fuel Card, 25 days holiday (+bank hols), pension, life assurance, Healthcare, Dental scheme and full product training!   We are currently seeking a Field Service Technician to join our client, a leader in intelligent Parking Solutions, maintaining and installing systems throughout the UK! Full product training offered before starting. They’re looking for a Field Service Technician to be based in the Weston-super-Mare / Bristol area with easy access to M5. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for providing installation, repair and maintenance services on car park systems in the Weston-super-Mare / Bristol and surrounding area.    You must have previous experience in a Field based role, preferred experience in: ATM systems, Magnetic Encoders, Bar Code Scanners, Access Control, Intercom, EPOS experience will be looked upon favourably!   The successful Field Service Technician will be working on a 9am to 5pm basis and required to join a weekend standby rota on a one in every weeks basis, paid for being on standby without potentially attending any jobs! Field Service Technician Experience & Skills Required: (Experience with 2 or more of the following systems would make you an ideal candidate) Field service experience. Coin and note handling systems. EPOS systems. PC based networking solutions. Local area networks. Magnetic encoders. Bar code scanners. Access control systems. Intercom systems. Essential Requirements: Full UK driving license is a ESSENTIAL, please do not apply without a FULL UK License! Right to work in the UK (my client is unable to provide sponsorship for this role) Happy to join a weekend standby rota once every few weeks (being paid without the possibility of attending any jobs)! A recognised qualification in electrical / electronics.
