Meridian Business Supporting are working on behalf of a state-of-the-art College based in Merseyside. They are looking for a Lecturer of Computing to deliver stimulating and interesting lecturers to their students.   Role:                    Lecturer of Computing Salary:                 £9,218.40 to £14,150.40 per year Hours:                 Working 14 hours a week Location:             Merseyside Start date:           Late September 2024/October 2024   The College is a great place to work and with a new leadership team taking shape they are on a transformational journey as we strive to be better and do better - be part of our story! If so, this is an exciting opportunity to join one of the largest FE colleges in the Northwest.   Our client is seeking to appoint a dynamic and self-motivated individual to our School in Business & Professional, who has a genuine passion for the subject and excellent subject knowledge. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with a wide range of students aged from 14 – 19 and adults. There will also be evening work involved with this role.   The ideal candidate for the Lecturer of Computing will have A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A recognised teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one. Professional certifications in computing (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft, CompTIA) are advantageous. Experience in teaching BTEC/T levels or equivalent vocational qualifications in computing.
