Senior/Principal Microwave Design Engineer | Up to £68k | SC Eligibility Required | Hybrid | Milton KeynesAre you an experienced Microwave Design Engineer? Are you interested in developing Microwave design within Aerospace and Defense? Are you a proactive self-starter with ambition to grow, develop and progress in your career?Then this might be the role for you!Responsibilities:Work with expert support to develop and deliver complex Microwave design for complex electronic systems for challenging customer requirements.You will have to manage complex microwave design, product development and ongoing technical problem solving.You may be required to travel periodically for technical reviews of products.Necessary experience:You must be eligible for security clearance.Design experience with either Keysight ADS, Microwave Office, CST Microwave Studio, Ansoft HFSS or Siemens ED.Physical layouts experience of RF and Microwave circuits.Design requirement Derivation and reporting experience.RF testing experience with Network Analysers, Spectrum Analysers and RF Sources.Debugging experience across hardware and testing equipment.Experience working with internal and external stakeholders.Nice to have:Experience within the defence industryExperience with RF Synthesisers, RF conditioning chains, DDS or PLL technologies.Design experience of passive microwave structures e.g. Filters.Design experience with Switches or High-Power Amplifiers.Experience with RF Chain Analysis, PCB or MMIC Design.What’s in it for you?Salary up to £68,000 DOE + Annual Bonus.25 days holiday + Bank Holidays (Buy & Sell scheme).Hybrid Working.Private Healthcare.Generous Pension Scheme.Wellbeing & Lifestyle support Schemes.Access to large training portfolio.
