Apple is looking for a talented Video Director/ Filmographer to join the EMEIA Sales Training & Programs team. As a Video Director/ Filmographer, you will support the team in creating exceptionally engaging and effective video & audio content that supports our training and development initiatives. You will act as the creative lead for video projects from conceptualization and storyboarding to filming and post-production. You will be skilled in all aspects of video production as well as high-quality live stream video. The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and a creative thinker with excellent aesthetic and a passion for visual storytelling, as well as a strong background in both creative direction and filmmaking, capable of producing high-quality content that engages and resonates with our target audience.

Description

Translate key training topics into clear, polished creative solutions. Develop and pitch innovative ideas for video content, exploring new formats and techniques to enhance learner engagement and retention. Take responsibility for the creative vision and the standard of videos and ensure consistency in visual tone, style, messaging, and branding. Create storyboards and visual plans that outline the structure, style, and pacing of the videos, ensuring they are aligned with instructional design. Write creative briefs, scripts, and interview questions. Lead on set-production, including directing talent, camera operations, lighting, and sound, and conduct filmed interviews. Provide creative direction on music. Manage the post-production process, including editing, color grading, sound design, and motion graphics. Lead the production, camera operation, and post-production for live stream and live stream recording video. Manage studio as well as setup and operation of studio equipment on-location. Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of video content. Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and incorporate feedback.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Proven creative direction experience with extensive experience in filmmaking and video/studio production.
  • Experience in branded content creation, particularly in advertising, corporate environments, or networks.
  • Have an established network of best-in-class production companies and freelance motion graphics and animation agency partners and individual artists.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated history of high-quality, high-impact video content creation for online audiences.
  • Deep understanding of established and emerging trends in video content consumption and audience habits, highly desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to clearly and effectively communicate creative ideas and solutions to stakeholders.
  • Advanced filmmaking skills, including expertise in directing, cinematography, and post-production.
  • Proficiency in video/sound editing as well as color grading software (Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
  • Familiarity with motion graphics, visual effects, and design.
  • Good knowledge of small format mixers, compression, EQ, effects processors, audio recording techniques for studio and field, multi-track, and waveform editing.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest equipment, software, and web trends.
  • Strong time, organizational, and project management skills.
