Job Title: Senior Designer - Events & Exhibitions
Location; Redditch - 2 Days in the Office per week
Salary: From £45,000 per annum

Must have events or exhibition experience. Must be able to manage end 2 end design to include both 3D and 2D conceptual design.
Our wonderful client is looking for a Senior Designer to join an already-established team.
Our client is a well-renowned family business that has been trading for several years within the Events & exhibitions sector, you may be an experienced Designer that is looking to make a move, a freelancer who is looking to go full time or a Designer that is looking for progression and more responsibility.
Role Overview:
The Senior Designer will bring a mix of marketing expertise and business understanding to the
position, promoting our company and that of our valued clients.
We’re looking for an experienced 3d designer, someone that can inspire others, taking our
creative to a new level as we continue to grow. The ideal candidate will have a natural eye for
design and a drive to inspire dynamic ideas that connect with all types of audiences as well as
collaboratively work within a team.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Accountable for design studio environment, culture, team, capabilities, tools, processes,
expectations, work style and other elements support the strategic goals and brand.
• Understand and responding creatively to client design brief
• Creative responses are of a continually high quality and production is upheld, maintaining
consistently high standards for him/herself and others on the team
• Promoting our creative service remains leading edge and ahead of our competition
• Delivering strategic communication solutions through design that help our clients attain their
marketing and communications objectives
• Plan and schedule work and resources across engagements based on short and
long-term needs, establishing production schedules by collaborating with project
and design team.
• Translating client briefs, marketing goals and information into strategic brand concepts,
storyboard and rationales
• Produce client presentations that are professional, engaging, persuasive and supported by
sound rationale.
• Produce sketch concepts (not essential) through to 3D annotated visuals and plans for
client proposal presentations
• Produce 3D walk through animations dependent on client size where applicable
• Collaborating and contributing to the creative process as part of the creative team,
• Attend as and when required to design pitch presentations with Sales and/or Account Director
• Responsible for understanding and gaining knowledge of venue rules and regulations
• Full understand and responsible for producing working drawings in accordance with venue rules
and regulations and our preferred supplier/contractor
• Manage (sometimes create) the graphic content from client files to ensure file sizes and quality
are correct to our production build drawings and standards
• Be available for worldwide travel to cover project team in times of event crossover.
• To make and maintain regular contact with all our clients and suppliers to ensure
communication is effected through the correct channels by both telephone and/or email.
• Conduct brainstorming sessions with creative team, maintaining strategic and creative
thinking to develop innovative and actionable creative initiatives in a fiscally responsible
manner.
Key Skills:
• It's essential that Senior Designers have exemplary communication, presentation, problem-solving and project-management skills.
• 5 years + related experience
• Experienced in creating strategies & projects from developing vision and the message
platform to overseeing production on time and budget.
Proven experience with concept development
• Highly skilled with leading a team of creative talent.
• Strong creative vision with an understanding of business & client objectives
• Hand-on experience in creative process, marketing, graphic design, and brand development
• Excellent working knowledge of software such as Sketch up Pro, 3D Studio Max, Adobe
Creative Suite, Illustrator, InDesign, Vectorworks
