Do you have effective customer facing administration experience? Do you consider yourself to be IT literate? Are you based in or around Stalybridge?
If the answer is “ Yes”, then Aggregate Industries is looking for someone like you to join as a Sales and Logistics Representative on a temporary basis. The ideal applicant for this position will be able to multitask, have a strong geographical knowledge and some experience within the haulage industry. Full training will be provided.
Role - Sales and Logistics Representative
Pay - £14.35ph
Location- Aggregate Industries/ Stalybridge Readymix Bridge St, Stalybridge SK15 1 PF
100% office based initially with the view for some hybrid working after training
Shift pattern- Mon-Fri, 37.5 hours per week, general office hours
Duration- 3-6 months
Start date - ASAP (within one week)
Responsibilities:
*
Supporting a team of four people by processing small sales
*
Acting as a point of contact for customers requiring assistance or additional information
*
Receiving customer enquiries and small orders via telephone
*
Ensuring the customers needs are met at all times
*
Taking and processing orders accurately the first time
*
Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints as they arise
*
Providing administrative and customer support to internal and external stakeholders
*
Signposting stakeholders in the right direction for queries you are unable to resolve
*
Collaborating data into IT systems
*
Prioritising deliveries against supply
*
Keeping customers informed and updated of any delays or lack of supply
*
Resolving cash sales enquiries
*
Deploying haulage resources to ensure customer orders are fulfilled
*
Promoting and abiding by current Health and Safety legislation at all times
Experience needed:
*
Prior experience in a customer facing administrative role
*
Previous experience within a Logistics/Export/Haulage role
*
Good geographical knowledge
*
Capacity to operate with minimal supervision and self motivated
*
Strong IT literacy skills and experience with in house IT systems
*
Confident telephone manner
*
Strong verbal and written communication skills
*
Excellent interpersonal skills
