Activus Recruitment are assisting our client to fill a rare opportunity for a mechanic to join their team in a busy local independent specialist garage in Kingswells, Aberdeen.
This is a full-time temp to perm role
Rate: circa £18ph DoE
The ideal Candidate must have the following:
• Experience in diagnostic, service & repair of VAG group vehicles
• NVQ in Motor Vehicle Technology and a City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent
• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
• MOT Test certified preferred but not essential
• Ability to work under pressure
• Quality awareness
• Communication skills
• Eligibility to work in the UK and hold a full UK driving license
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work on your own or as part of a team
