Support Manager - Domiciliary Care - In Oxford and surrounding areas. Salary: £26K – £29K per annum (dependent on experience) Must have an UK driving license with access to own vehicle. We are a rapidly expanding domiciliary and live-in care company, privately owned and family-run, based in Oxford. Specialising in elderly and dementia care in Witney and surrounding areas, we currently deliver over 300 hours of domiciliary care each week and are continuing to grow our live-in care services. Having been in operation for under a year, we're building a fantastic team where you’ll truly feel valued and appreciated. With a strong, supportive ethos, we’re now looking for a Support Manager to join us on our exciting journey. Role Overview: As Support Manager, you will play a key role in managing and delivering high-quality care services under the guidance of the Registered Manager. This position offers a blend of office-based duties and hands-on work in the field—perfect for those looking to step into management. What We Offer: Free parking BUPA Health Minds Scheme NVQ/QCF Training provided at no cost Pension scheme A supportive, family-run environment where your contributions are valued Key Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the domiciliary care service, ensuring all care standards and client schedules meet CQC guidelines. Maintain accurate, timely records of care provided and all related administrative tasks. Lead and support team leaders in managing rotas and ensuring the team understands their responsibilities. Address any performance issues as they arise. Manage the full lifecycle of care packages, from referral and assessment to quality assurance, review, and termination. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food hygiene, fire safety, infection control, and emergency procedures. Safeguard clients by adhering to relevant legislation and best practices in care delivery. Participate in and deliver training to ensure continuous professional development and team competency. Conduct spot checks and audits to monitor and maintain care standards. Build and maintain effective relationships with external agencies to ensure seamless service delivery. Identify and resolve non-compliance issues as they arise. Manage the financial aspects of care packages to ensure sustainability. Provide out-of-hours emergency support as part of the on-call rota. Ideal Candidate: Experience in a domiciliary care setting Willingness to work towards or possession of a Diploma in Health and Social Care Level 5 or equivalent Proven supervisory experience, including leading teams, managing performance, and fostering an inclusive work environment Strong literacy and numeracy skills in English In return, you’ll work for a company that truly values its employees, offers an excellent salary, comprehensive training, and full support from the Registered Manager and Director.
