Job Title: Fabricator/Welder

Salary: £13.00 - £16.00 per hour

Location: Warwickshire

Contract: Fulltime, Permanent

Shifts: Monday - Thursday 08:00 to 17.00, Friday 08:00 to 14:00

The Role:

You'll join a team of three, supporting the fabrication side of the business, focusing on MIG & TIG welding and operating the brake press. There's also an opportunity to learn and operate CNC machines and lasers if desired.

Key Responsibilities of the Fabricator/Welder:

  • Serve as the lead operator for the safe and efficient running of the brake press.
  • Be the primary person responsible for welding tasks.
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest possible standards.
  • Accurately interpret technical drawings and documents.
  • Confidently ask questions and make suggestions for improvement.
  • Advise on processes and recommend the best suppliers based on experience.
  • Maintain compliance with the company's health and safety standards.
  • Consistently and accurately log projects with timesheet reporting.
  • Complete necessary administrative tasks in line with production schedules.

Ideal Fabricator/Welder will have:

  • Extensive experience in fabrication shop environments and processes.
  • Proficiency in welding and fabrication.
  • Experience operating a brake press.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Strong emotional intelligence - friendly yet hardworking.
  • Desire to continually learn and improve.
  • Awareness of when to escalate issues.
  • A positive, solution-oriented attitude.
