Health and Safety Manager

Health and Safety Manager Up to £60k Vickerstock are working with a leading Food Manufacturing firm based in the Greater Belfast area on the appointment of a Health & Safety Manager. An organisation that has experienced sustained growth over the last decade and is a renowned producer within their sector segment. As growth continues with the organisation, transformative change is part of the progress, establishing a robust H&S Strategy will be a core part of the first and initial phase of this role. Implementation and integration of new systems and processes will follow and be a key responsibility, managing this change and bringing the various teams and departments along this journey will be part of the remit of the role. What you'll need to succeed: Demonstrable experience in developing, implementation and embedding a strong H&S culture within an organisation will be crucial. Experience of managing and developing H&S strategies and policies. Ensure Health and Safety Risk Management is in line with ISO 45001 standards Ability to establish and oversee a robust system for H&S Inspections and audits. Essential Requirements: Minimum of 3 years in a Senior H&S role within a manufacturing organisation NEBOSH Professional certification and membership of IOSH/IIRSM Demonstrable record of implementing systems and procedures.
