Location: Linton, Cambridge
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
Contract: Full time, Permanent
Hours: 8am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday
Our client is a leading UK laboratory refurbishment and construction company, specialising in providing turnkey solutions from concept to completion. With over 30 years of experience, they serve the educational, healthcare, pharmaceutical, and industrial sectors with top-tier laboratory construction and refurbishment services.
The Role
They are looking for an experienced Estimator to join their team.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for various projects, ensuring that all financial and contractual requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects across the educational, healthcare, pharmaceutical, and industrial sectors.
- Analyse project requirements, specifications, drawings, and other documents to understand the full scope of the work required.
- Collaborate with the Projects and Design Team to ensure all estimates are accurate and complete.
- Use Microsoft Excel to compile and present data effectively.
- Cost projects from £1,000 to over £1,000,000.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction or refurbishment industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Familiarity with construction drawings and specifications is advantageous.
