Key Account Manager - Midlands & North

Advanced are a market leader in the supply of infrastructure network access systems including, access chambers, access covers & frames, manhole ladders and associated drainage products. We have a fantastic opportunity for a Regional Key Account Manager to join our growing sales team covering the Midlands & North. Responsible for driving sales through a structured process for all core products across the infrastructure sector. The position will require traveling to meetings within the region, as and when required to fulfil the role and report back to the Sales Director. The sales ledger will include national and independent civils merchant groups together with regional distribution partners, stockists and contractors. The daily role be visiting client sites and depots raising product and brand awareness, building and maintaining relationships, developing new partnerships, attending site meetings and to undertake any presentations, product training and lunch & learn workshops. Key Responsibilities: Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with a ledger of existing key accounts across the Midlands & North. Client Engagement: Schedule and attend appointments with clients, regularly visiting them to understand their needs and offer tailored product solutions. Sales Management: Take a consultative approach to selling, providing expert advice on our product range to meet clients’ operational requirements. Business Development: Identify new areas for growth within region including existing ledger expansion and up-selling. Administrative Tasks: Ensure accurate record-keeping, including sales reporting, client updates, and follow-ups, with strong attention to detail. Frequent Travel: This role requires a high degree of travel to client sites across the Midlands & North, with occasional Head Office presence required in Telford. Our promise to you in return, you will receive a base salary of £40,000 p.a, 22 days of holiday (plus Bank Holidays), a company car or car or allowance, company laptop and mobile, a bonus scheme and company pension.
