PLC Control Engineer

Job DescriptionPLC Control Engineer: 1 day a week in office just outside of London/occasional travel to client site.My client takes on the most complex, demanding, projects for their clients because they can solve problems no one else can – and they have the glowing track record to prove it.They engineer innovative grid connections, integrate large scale PV, wind, CHP and EHV grids, provide cutting edge IoT enabled SCADA systems and provide AI enabled smart network control systems.This is an exciting opportunity at a time of significant and fascinating change within the energy sector, and distribution networks will be at the heart of achieving net zero. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be an integral part of achieving this.What qualifications and experience should you have?Design of PLC control systems.Create I/O cards, PLC selection.Use CAD, including panel layouts and I/O drawings.5 + years in PLC design experience.AutoCad and CAD packagesExport limitation schemes Battery storage system integration
