Solar PV Technical Supervisor

This is an exciting time to join a rapidly growing team as we expand our solar offering across the UK.
The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Solar PV installer to join our Technical department with a primary focus to provide expert knowledge to help support our growing Solar division. In addition, you’ll mentor new installers and assist the business as a whole with technical guidance. The role also supports the technical advice service we offer to other stakeholders such as our builder customers, homeowners and suppliers.
Responsibilities
Use your experience and knowledge to support the Technical department and the wider business.
Mentor and help train new Solar PV installers.
Working with installers on non-standard systems and installations.
Solar 1st fix roof installation quality auditing.
Lead the way with new product innovation, particularly electrical energy storage.
Assist with escalated rectification/remedial works.
Producing videos, documented training and technical guidance.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years experience in solar PV installations.
Formal electrical and solar qualifications with a level 3 qualification in solar PV installations essential.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
You must be a team-player but also able to work independently.
A proactive approach and strong sense of initiative.
Full UK manual driving license.
