PWD Connect are currently recruiting Qualified Teachers to work in Secondary/Primary schools across the Cannock and Rugeley area. Roles are on a day to day, short term and long term basis. Key Responsibilities: * Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects within the secondary school curriculum. * Support students with their learning, providing guidance and encouragement as they progress academically. * Supervise students during lessons, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment. * Collaborate with teaching staff to create engaging and interactive learning activities that cater to the diverse needs of students. * Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional assistance with their studies. * Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and resources, including classroom displays and educational aids. * Uphold school policies and procedures, promoting positive behaviour and maintaining discipline within the classroom. * Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other professional development opportunities as required. * Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, fostering a sense of community within the school. Requirements: * PGCE, TRN or QTS qualification * A genuine passion for education and a desire to work with young people. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Strong organisational abilities and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. * Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the school. * Resilience and patience when working with students of varying abilities and backgrounds. * Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
