The main goal of this role is to manage the commercial aspects of a portfolio of design and build projects of a gross value of circa £0.5 million to £10 million. This is a hybrid role, working from various locations, including home, Blackburn or Bridgend office and nationwide project sites. The role is likely to require stays overnight close to site locations. The candidate will be of a strong and tenacious personality with a strong technical background. A team player but with an ability to work individually as appropriate, the candidate will also be target and result focused. To help us do this we need people like you, with the desire to play your part in making the world a safer place Job Description Responsibilities: Administration of the Main Contract(s) including assisting with Project Control information, Change Management and Cash collection Administration of the Subcontract Agreements holistically under the portfolio, including execution of the project subcontract strategy Provide advisory service regarding various standard forms of agreement (including FIDIC, JCT, NEC, ICE, etc.), their administration ensuring best practices are adopted and implemented throughout the project life span including inception, delivery and close out Assist in development and responsibility for procurement and negotiation of all Subcontracts Project Management Working with the Project Manager to identify early warnings within the Subcontract environment Assisting in the administration of Instructions and the like. Assisting with preparation of accurate project control information to evaluate progress against the agreed construction programme(s). Compliance Manages the teams ethics, quality and EHs requirements, ensuring that all of the team are aware of their EH&S obligations and that they understand and comply with EH&S Policies Ensure that the team maintain a safe place of work and working environment both on site & off site Qualifications Qualifications/ Experience/Knowledge: Of graduate calibre with Experience in business processes with a "hands-on" approach, sharing and enacting best practice Experience of Quantifying works in accordance with Standard Measurement Rules Experience in the Administration of Contracts in both Client and Subcontract Experience in influencing and management of confrontational and difficult situations in a professional manner Additional Information Chubb Systems provides sophisticated communication, security and surveillance systems for a number of Europe's leading organisations and specialises in large infrastructure projects.
