Plumbing and Heating Contracts/Operations Manager Location: Woking Salary: Cira £65,000 per annum plus bonus Benefits: Company car, Career Development Opportunity An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Plumbing & Heating Contracts/Operations Manager to join our fast-growing £5m turnover company. Based in Woking, we cover projects across Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire providing premium plumbing, heating, and renewable energy solutions for both residential and commercial clients. As an experienced Contracts/Operations Manager, you will be responsible for running a team of 30 engineers, managing a variety of projects, and ensuring they are completed to the highest standards. You will work closely with homeowners, and commercial partners to deliver remarkable services and maintain strong relationships. Your role will include overseeing the planning and execution of projects, monitoring progress, authorising wages, materials, sub-contractor costs working closely with the finance function whilst guaranteeing all work complies with industry regulations. Plumbing and Heating Contracts/Operations Manager Key Responsibilities * Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of 30 engineers, ensuring high standards of work, quality and safety. * Project Management: oversee plumbing, heating, and renewable energy projects from planning through to completion, securing that projects stay on schedule and within budget. * Client Management: operate as a primary point of contact for clients, homeowners and commercial partners, addressing their needs and providing project updates. * Software Ability: utilise various software systems for projects management, scheduling and reporting to ensure smooth operations. * Coordination: liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. * Compliance and Safety: conduct site visits to manage health and safety requirements, resolving any issues that arise and ensuring compliance with industry standards. * Previous Experience: You will have 2 years minimum experience of being a Plumbing and Heating Contracts/Operations Manager What We Offer: * Salary: circa £65,000 per year, plus a bonus structure based on performance. * Company Car: A fully equipped electric company vehicle * Professional Growth: Opportunities for training, development, and career progression within a dynamic and growing industry. * Supportive Team Environment: join a motivated team committed to delivering excellence in every project. Plumbing and Heating Contracts/Operations Manager Requirements: * Proven experience in managing plumbing, heating and renewable energy projects. * Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing a team of engineers. * Excellent communication skills for dealing with clients, homeowners, and commercial partners. * Diverse ability in using various software systems for project management. * Ability to manage budgets and control costs, Computer literate, excellent telephone manner and, Full UK driving license.
