Finance Manager

Job Title: Finance Manager Location: Blackpool, Lancashire Pay Bracket: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum We are working with a long-established Marketing some of the most iconic businesses in the world. Our client is going through an exciting period of growth, and their team now needs to expand and recruit a Finance Manager. This is a great opportunity for a Finance Manager with experience in Bookkeeping, reconciliations, invoicing, credit control, submission of VAT returns and preparation of accounts to Trial Balance stage. Your main roles and responsibilities: Management of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions Assisting with company payroll Collating monthly reports for the Senior Management Team Reconciling cash, bank accounts, and revenues Maintaining an accurate general ledger Creating journal entries for all accounts Monitoring cash flow Issuing invoices and collecting payments from customers Preparing VAT returns Ensuring financial processes and controls are improved and implemented Processing purchase ledger invoices Managing supplier payments The ideal candidate will have: Proficient in using accounting systems, preferably Xero Excellent written and verbal communication skills. An understanding of operational and business needs. Excellent attention to detail, time management and exceptional organisation skills. Proficient in excel and all Microsoft apps. Strong understanding of navigating through reports and recognising areas of improvement.
