Role 1: Safeguarding & Assessment Service Our Safeguarding and Support Team comprises five teams, each led by a Team Manager and consisting of six social workers. You will perform crucial child and family assessments, including Section 47 enquiries, and develop SMART plans for children under Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and Looked After Children (LAC) statuses. This role emphasizes safeguarding and working collaboratively to meet the needs of vulnerable children and families. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver high-quality casework. Manage caseloads efficiently, ensuring vulnerable children and families receive the support they need. Maintain professional standards, engaging in supervision for continuous growth. About You Qualified social worker with 12 months post-qualification experience. Strong assessment and case management skills. Resilient, adaptable, and solution-focused, with excellent communication skills. Role 2: Court Team As a Social Worker in our Court Team, your role focuses on care proceedings and onward planning for children who cannot return to their family of origin. You will be the expert witness on behalf of the local authority and will need to provide high-quality assessments and evidence in court. We are committed to embedding the Signs of Safety model and require social workers who share our commitment to this approach. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and present evidence in care proceedings as an expert witness. Write detailed, high-quality reports and assessments for court. Work within a team that handles complex cases involving children in need of care planning. About You At least 2 years post-qualification experience, preferably in a similar setting.
