Senior Technical Pricing Manager Salary - £60,000 - £80,000 + upto 25% bonus Bristol - Opportunity to work remote, but would need to get to the office a minimum of 1x per month Are you an experienced Pricing expert with a knack for driving profitability and ensuring compliance? Our client, a market-leading organisation, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Technical Pricing Manager to join their team. Responsibilities: Develop and implement robust pricing strategies that align with regulatory requirements Provide actuarial oversight and liaise with regulatory bodies as needed Drive profitability by conducting technical assessment of pricing options Effectively manage a team of three technical experts Review promotional offers, considering their impact on the P&L and budget targets Implement new pricing techniques using actuarial expertise Ensure pricing decisions are compliant and adhere to the governance sign-off process Act as an advisory resource for non-actuarial stakeholders Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders through effective matrix stakeholder management Requirements: Proven significant experience in pricing within relevant industries (e.g., finance, insurance, banking) Strong technical knowledge of insurance pricing and analytical techniques Highly numerate with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to manage and develop a team effectively Extensive software skills including Excel, SQL, and SAS Excellent knowledge of pricing software such as Radar and Emblem Familiarity with FCA regulatory guidance, including emerging changes within the regulatory environment Experience in managing a team of analysts Good understanding of broader business functions Personal Attributes: Exceptional communication and negotiation skills Confidence and competence in communicating with executives High levels of motivation and drive Excellent organisational and planning skills Ability to manage competing priorities Qualifications: Degree in a relevant numerate field (1st/2:1) Qualified Actuary preferred Experience in the insurance industry If you are passionate about pricing, possess strong leadership skills, and are eager to contribute to a market-leading organisation, then this Senior Technical Pricing Manager position is for you.
