Technician Monday – Friday Location: Gloucestershire Permanent Position Salary £27,000 Our client is an engineering company, they have always been at the cutting edge of their industry and remain there today with a full range products for their clients. Key Responsibilities * Deliver and install equipment at customers’ premises, to meet company standards and customer expectations. * Deliver training and support to customers’ staff in the maintenance of the equipment, to ensure they can carry out routine maintenance tasks. * Carry out scheduled and ad hoc maintenance and repairs of the equipment, ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with company specifications and to customers satisfaction. * Prioritise own workload and journey plans for each day to ensure that time is utilised efficiently, and customer service standards are met. * Complete detailed information onto job sheets at the correct time and to the required standard, to ensure that customer invoices can be issued promptly, parts ordered, and records kept up to date. * Maintain pre-agreed levels of stock and tools in the Company van supplied, to ensure that installation, service and repair visits to customers can be completed. * Maintain the van and all tools supplied, to maintain high standards of service. Key Skills * Practical problem solving and troubleshooting skills. * Articulate and able to explain mechanics, confidence to talk to customers, engage with them and explain clearly. * Flexible and tenacious, with the ability to deal with ambiguous technical issues and decide quickly on the best course of action. * Work experience in a customer facing role providing a high quality of service * Full driving licence * Comfortable driving long distances regularly * Lives close to M4 corridor * Able to stay away overnight occasionally for long distance visits * A company van is allocated for business use only Due to the high volume of applications, we receive for our job adverts we are unable to respond to all candidates.
