Job Title: PPA Cover Teacher Location: Primary School in the Reddish, Stockport Area Position: PPA Cover Teacher Type of Work: Full-time Start Date: ASAP Minimum Rate of Pay: GBP130 - GBP180 per day Contract Type: Long-term Temp Hours: 08:30 - 15:30 About Us: We are a vibrant and inclusive primary school located in the Reddish area of Stockport. With a strong commitment to providing high-quality education and nurturing each child's unique potential, we are looking for a passionate PPA Cover Teacher to join our dynamic team and support our teachers during their planning, preparation, and assessment (PPA) time. Your Role: As a PPA Cover Teacher, you will teach across various year groups, delivering engaging and pre-planned lessons. Key responsibilities include: · Teaching across different year groups, following the curriculum and adapting lessons to meet the diverse needs of pupils. · Ensuring effective classroom management, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. · Collaborating with class teachers to ensure seamless lesson transitions and continuity of learning. · Supporting childrens academic progress and development in line with the school's high expectations for behaviour and achievement. What Were Looking For: We are seeking a dedicated and flexible teacher who thrives in a dynamic environment. You will need: · Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification. · Strong classroom management skills with the ability to inspire and engage children in their learning. · Experience teaching across primary year groups, with an adaptable approach to different age ranges. · A collaborative attitude and the ability to work effectively with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for students. Eligibility Requirements: To be considered for this role, you must: · Hold the Right to Work in the UK. · Have an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application. · Hold up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as some training is provided).
