Widely available in retailers such as Next and John Lewis, Jon Richard provides timeless elegance and fashionable accessories for all.An exciting opportunity has become available to join our talented and vibrant buying team as a Junior Buyer, this position is to manage our Sterling Silver range. The successful applicant will be creative, have a passion for fashion jewellery and a background working with sterling silver is preferable but not essential.Our buying department work with high volumes in a fast-moving environment collaborating with a global range of suppliers.You will be expected to :Work with Design to deliver the range, interpreting key trendsManage and deliver KPIs on margin and profitWork independently on product development and quality controlWork with the Head of Buying to create strategic plansEnsure effective communication between all levels of the departmentReport key information in trading meetingsRespond to competitor analysisComplete buying trips and some store visitsEnsure sales are maximized and in line with the company strategyWhat we need from you:Candidates should be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the Sterling Silver and Fashion Jewellery market.At least 2 years’ experience as a Senior Assistant Buyer or 1 years’ experience as a Junior Buyer with fashion jewellery, preferably sterling silver.Someone who can work to tight deadlines.Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with the wider team.What we offer :We offer a competitive salary, generous staff discount, pension, and some flexible working.
