Fit With Me is seeking an engaging, diligent and flexible Kitchen and Customer Experience Lead to take on the day-to-day leadership of our new healthy café based at Lords Cricket Ground. The role: The main objective of this role is simple: to ensure every single visitor to the café has an outstanding experience. This means leading the kitchen operation (including preparing and delivering all food and drink), and being responsible for the front-of-house customer experience from the second someone enters to café, to the moment they leave. Typical responsibilities include: preparing to order delicious, nutritious and visually appealing dishes (such as brunch, open sandwiches and fresh salads) ensuring that all drinks (including coffee, shakes, and smoothies) are of the highest quality overseeing the presentation of the café, and setting the standard for an outstanding experience for all café visitors monitoring and managing food inventory helping design menus, both food and drink ensuring food quality and presentation standards are consistently met undertaking daily food preparation and service maintaining a clean and organised work environment operating dishwashers and handling deliveries running daily reports and feeding back to the Head of Operations Your qualities and characteristics; have a customer-centric mindset: this role is all about creating an outstanding experience be a leader and team-player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, whilst always being open to feedback and curious about how to improve be detail-oriented, with a focus on quality control, consistency and exceeding expectations follow food and health & safety standards and regulations, including personal hygiene and uniform standards be up to date on industry trends, techniques and ingredients be able to work flexibly across the week, including weekends & evenings prior kitchen and management experience preferrable but we are all about the right person and will reward a positive, hardworking and passionate attitude barista trained is essential Shift Pattern : 5 days per week, with 2 days off in every 7 Pay: £35,000-£40,000/year Other benefits : on-site gym and fitness classes Who we are: Fit With Me is built on a simple philosophy: that everyone should enjoy being active and healthy for the rest of their lives.
