Functional Skills Tutor

Job Title: Functional Skills Tutor Location: London - Must be flexible with travel Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 (Depending on skills and experience) Type: Full-time, Permanent Duties: Deliver Functional Skills Maths and English up to Level 2 to learners undertaking Apprenticeship qualifications on a face-to-face basis. Identify and provide additional learning support to learners with identified learning difficulties and disabilities. Design and deliver engaging training sessions and provide ongoing IAG to learners. The successful candidate will be flexible with their delivery methods, providing differentiation and be able to adapt quickly to learners needs.Essential Criteria: Must hold a recognised Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above.  Must have experience of delivering group and 1-1 Functional Skills Maths and English up to Level 2. Must hold own Maths and/or English at Level 2 or above. Ability to overcome challenges and support learners to progress. Excellent presentation and communication skills. The successful candidate must be engaging, and able to demonstrate energy and passion to motivate and teach learners.
