Private Wealth - Client Onboarding AssociateLeading UK Wealth/Investment Manager, based Central London£42,000 - £45,000 + Excellent PackageThis is an excellent opportunity for an individual with 2+ years of client onboarding experience to join a leading Wealth Management firm based in Central London. Reporting to the Head of Client Services, this role is a key position within the Client Services function, with a focus on KYC and AML Account Onboarding. Key responsibilities include:Performing client onboarding and AML checks for new clientsReviewing application documents, ensuring AML documents are correct and certified up to specified standards, including source of wealth checks and reviewing suitability adviceWork closely with all Wealth Managers and Associates to ensure proper complianceQuality assurance checks on all new accountsConfirm KYC requirements and account opening needs of new custodiamsRisk assessment of new clients, review for sanctions, negative press or PEP’s as per AML guidelinesWork on a variety of financial services products, including both onshore and offshore providers. Products not limited to, but include SIPP’s, Personal Pensions, ISA, Investment accounts, bonds, wrap providers.Update and maintain client records on CRM system and with Platform Service ProviderApprove platform requests, including payment requests, new account opening etc.To be successful in this role, you should have had the following experience:Proven Client Onboarding experience gained from within a Wealth, Investment, Private Banking or Platform environmentExperience of KYC and AML onboardingStrong numerical and analytical skills, including excellent attention to detailStrong communication skills, with the ability to work closely with clients and wealth managers alike in a tactful and diplomatic mannerStrong team player, with the ability to help mentor more junior team membersIn return, our client offers:Basic salary of up to £45,000 + excellent package and bonusAbility to take further qualifications and work in a collaborative and interesting environmentOpportunity to join a genuinely expanding companyFor more information, please contact Edward Groves
