HGV Class 1 Driver

Starting next week We are looking for an LGV Cat. CE / HGV Class 1 fridge driver to cover holidays and sickness with our team of night drivers with our customer in Wisbech. There are two routes to be covered - trunks going south (23.30 start), trunks going to the midlands/north west (22.30 start). Really nice clean work in nearly-new lorries, no trailer changes or self-tip. This is an ongoing contract for our customer, we don’t expect it to stop. Some of our drivers have been working for us here for nearly 5 years! Also Class 1 container/tramper driver for 2 weeks or perhaps longer. Based at Swineshead, collecting boxes from Felixstowe and delivering UK wide. Rhides card required plus experience using extendible skeleton trailers. Also Class 1 curtainsider tramper drivers x 2 for our customer in Long Sutton Also Class 1 fridge drivers to cover a variety of shifts in Wisbech, the fleet runs 24/7 so we can often find shifts to suit the hours our drivers want The successful driver/s can expect: * PAYE - no 'schemes' or Umbrella used * Hourly rate plus holiday pay on all hours worked from Day 1 (can be taken as pay or accrued for paid holiday – choice is yours) * Weekly Pay, a week in hand As a Class 1 Driver you will: * Have held and used the LGV Category CE entitlement to match our customer’s insurance requirements * Have a Driver’s CPC Card and Digital Tacho card * Have no more than 6 points on your licence for ‘minor’ offences (please ask us if you’re not sure) Join the leading specialist Driving Agency in your location & surrounding areas with 95% of our drivers proud to work for Driver Hire!
