Catering Manager - Edinburgh

PRS are working with a key international client who require a permanent Catering Manager for a prestigous private higher education facility in the heart of Edinburgh city centre. the salary for the role is £40,000 per annum. As part of an international group there are also extensive company benefits. The role is to ensure the prompt and efficient preparation and service of breakfast, lunch and dinner survive for up to 600 students and 150 staff members. You will be the direct report of the Head Chef and you will assist them in the management of the kitchen brigade to ensure all aspects of quality, service and food safety are kept to the highest standards. Hours for this role are 40 to 45 hours per week, 5 days out of 7. You will report directly to the Account Contract Manager. It is essential that you have previous experience as a Catering Manager in a contract catering operation, ideally in an educational environment. You must be highly organsied, computer literate, and have the ability to manage effectively. As this is an educational facility, the successful candidate will be expected to complete a full enhanced DBS check before being accepted for the role.
