Here at Logic Fire & Security , were seeking a Buyer to join our team based in Knaresborough . This is an important role with direct links to all areas of the business with responsibility for the daily operations of Purchasing and Stock Control, along with one other Buyer you'll also assist the Purchasing Manager in the Fleet management of Company vehicles. What we offer: Were looking to offer a salary of between £28,000-£32,000 for this role and are open to candidates of various levels. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) and company pension with the working hours: Mon 8am-5pm, Tue, Wed, Thurs 8.30am-5pm and Friday 8.00am-3pm. Key areas of responsibility: Build excellent working relationships with key suppliers securing competitive and preferential rates and services Procurement of all operational materials and plant equipment Manage storage, issue and returns of stock, liaising with the Purchasing and Procurement Manager to ensure all materials and equipment required for each client project are readily available Ensure that invoicing is prompt for all stock dispatched Experience required for the role: Previous experience in the sector is an advantage but not essential A proven track record of team mentorship and management Have strong business, commercial acumen where your purchasing knowledge drives respectful negotiations to secure competitive rates Have to ability work effectively and proactively within a team environment Do you see yourself reflected in the description above?
