Commercial Vehicle Technician with welding experience

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Municipal Vehicle Engineer with a strong background in heavy goods vehicles (HGV) and municipal vehicles. The role involves fabrication and welding (coded welding not essential), as well as expertise in repairing refuse vehicles, particularly in hydraulics and electrical systems. The successful candidate will be able to diagnose and repair breakdowns efficiently and ensure the smooth operation of essential municipal equipment. This is a permanent position, offering 42.5 working hours per week, with a pay rate of £20 per hour. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer with a hands-on approach, a background in welding and fabrication, and a strong mechanical understanding.
