RCH is one of the very few places in the UK that specialises in short term convalescent and respite care. It exists to help post-operative and respite guests get better, recover mentally and physically, and return home refreshed, confident and capable. Part-Time Registered Nurse Rustington, Littlehampton BN16 2LZ £19.22 per hour (£24.03 enhanced rate weekends and night duty) Permanent; night shifts (Saturday Nights: 9.30pm – 08.30am) What will you be doing? * Recording patients’ vital signs and medical information * Monitoring patients, record and reporting symptoms or changes in their conditions to provide the most suitable care and advice * Performing routine procedures such as administering non-intravenous medications, taking blood pressure measurements, taking blood and completing patients’ charts * Administering medications to patients, monitoring them for potential reactions or side effects and reporting to the physician * Creating and maintaining accurate, comprehensive healthcare records and reports of patients * Working with physicians and other health professionals to create personalised treatment plans for patients What will you need? * Proven experience as an Adult Nurse or Registered Nurse * Experience required with post-operative care * Outstanding knowledge of nursing care procedures and methods * Excellent understanding of health and safety protocols, including decontamination and sanitation * Patient, compassionate and empathetic nature * Knowledge of emergency care * Ability to lead and work well as part of a team * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Valid nursing licence If this sounds like you, please hit apply now!
