Quality Manager Atherstone £Competitive + Fantastic Company Benefits Permanent I am currently looking for an accomplished Quality Manager to provide accurate guidance to the company on all Quality related matters, promoting a positive culture and approach towards health, safety, environment and sustainability. Ensuring that all the products and services meet consistent standards of quality, aligning with customer expectations and regulatory requirements, you will be able to manage a team, being motivated in coaching them in order to achieve their objectives, targets and KPI’s. Working for a busy manufacturer based in the Staffordshire area, you will be accountable for establishing and implementing quality policies and procedures to maintain high standards, ensuring that quality strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives, setting product quality targets and operational needs to enable the company to function effectively. Your key responsibilities include: - * Establishing long term quality improvement plans, driving a culture of continuous improvement. * Monitoring industry trends and advancements to integrate best practices into the quality management system. * Ensuring compliance with the relevant regulations, standards and certifications * Maintaining up to date knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools and techniques. * Providing expert advice on quality related issues, acting as the primary point of contact relating to quality matters. * Analysing data & utilise KPI’s to identify improvements in all areas of Quality, customer, supplier & internal performance. * Implementing corrective actions and monitor the effectiveness of improvements. * Performing regular internal audits and inspections to assess adherence to quality standards. * Maintaining the Rospa Gold award status and management systems, processes, and procedures in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 standards. * Updating the CMS (Customer Management System) Investigate & identify areas of non-conformance, chairing meetings with department heads to identify root cause & corrective actions for timely conclusions. * Implement lean manufacturing techniques and six sigma methodologies to optimize quality, improve customer satisfaction, and reduce costs related to defects and inefficiencies. * Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to product quality * Developing and managing risk management plans to ensure product reliability and effectiveness. * Leading, mentoring and developing a team of quality assurance & HSE professionals, carrying out performance and development appraisals, setting objectives, targets and training where applicable. * Guiding and Support on all compliance matters involving legislation, changes and HSE/Government updates. * Undertaking duties in accordance with all relevant management systems and controls. Degree qualified or equivalent in Quality Management, you will have had experience of working in an environment which conforms to management standards, such as ISO9001 / ISO14001 Ideally with Six Sigma qualifications, you will have proven experience delivering operational excellence and continuous improvement projects. You will be accustomed with lead Auditor duties, with comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the manufacturing industry You will also be able to demonstrate with a proven track record in the use of Quality tools; such as 8D, FEMEA, Ishikawa, Root cause, Kaizen/Six Sigma & 5Y associated Quality tools If you would like to apply, then please send through a copy of your most up-to-date CV, together with a relevant cover-letter and reference 61799/QMIRSKM27
