The Business:A big global professional services and outsourcing business. In the last financial year, they generated c.£3bn in revenue.Key Responsibilities:Drive a Procurement agenda into a growing space i.e. being proactive and taking hold and ownership of opportunities, shaping deals and driving governance, often within tight timescalesOwnership of large levels of spend across a wide range of IT procurement projects. Projects will vary in value from c.£1m up to £20m+Run strategic procurement projects end to end in IT sub-category areas such as SaaS, Cloud, Software, TelcoChallenge stakeholders to a senior level in the right way in order to drive the procurement agenda and achieve positive, 'value-add' resultsKey Skills:You must be proactive in your approachResilient in character - able to challenge stakeholders to achieve a positive resultHave a strong track record within the IT category, ideally in SaaS, Cloud, Software or TelcoAble to navigate a large complex blue-chip environment and cut through the noise, prioritising effectivelySomeone who understands what 'best in class' procurement looks like and can bring new ideas to the tableAn ability to develop and implement category strategyAble to work in a fast-paced environmentIdeally experience in the IT industryCIPS/Degree or equivalent qualification would be usefulWhat is in it for you?Excellent development and progression opportunities in a large team of over 20 in procurementA mature environment where you will have a strong support network from leadershipAutonomy to drive your own projectsHybrid working - one or two days a week in the officeJoining a company in good growth Desired Skills and ExperienceThe Business:A big global professional services and outsourcing business.
