What will you be doing?
- Work within a small and entrepreneurial team on single-asset special situations / distressed investment opportunities across all of Arrow’s core geographies
- The right candidate will work closely with senior deal team members on complex transactions from origination, through negotiations, to deal execution and closing
- Build detailed underwriting / investment models from scratch for a wide range of transactions structures (team invests across the entire capital stack) and asset sectors
- Conduct market research and liaise with key internal and external stakeholders (e.g. local Arrow platforms, brokers, and advisors) to evaluate opportunities
- Support the senior deal team with drafting internal investment committee papers and supporting documentation
- Contribute to the wider team’s discussions around idea generation and investment strategy
- Collate, analyse and share relevant market data and research to wider team
- Create and maintain internal reporting summaries, trackers and similar
- Ad-hoc analysis and administrative tasks as required.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 1 – 3 years of proven experience working in private equity / principal investments, corporate finance or investment banking (direct real estate experience an advantage)
- Strong understanding of complex capital structures and distressed investment concepts
- Proficiency in private market concepts and good understanding of real estate fundamentals
- Excellent excel / financial modelling skills, with the ability to draw conclusions from research and data analysis and communicate them effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interest in investing and a genuine curiosity for understanding and investigating complex situations
- Proficiency in at least one European language (in addition to English) an advantage
