Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with vendors. Ensure timely delivery of products and services. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and products. Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time and best prices. Work closely with other departments to forecast future product needs. Profile A successful Senior Buyer should have: Prior experience in a senior buying role within the Industrial / Manufacturing industry. Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
