Credit Controller

This role is crucial in managing the company's financial health by ensuring timely debt collection and process improvements. * Salary: Competitive * Monday to Friday: 08:00 to 17:00 * Up to 27 days holiday plus bank holidays * Health care cash plan covering dental and health checks * Discounts on supermarket shops, holidays, and gym memberships The Role: The Credit Controller will take charge of the debt collection process. * Lead regular debtor review meetings with stakeholders * Monitor and manage accounts receivable ledger * Ensure debtor days are at target or below * Resolve customer queries and manage payments proactively * Maintain relationships with debt collection agencies * Ensure invoicing accuracy and set up new accounts with credit checks * Post daily banking transactions and allocate cash promptly * Support the finance department with ad-hoc queries The Candidate: The ideal Credit Controller will meet the following requirements. * Proven experience in credit control * Proficient in Sage and good spreadsheet skills * Experience with CIS is a plus * Highly organised with problem-solving abilities * Attention to detail and ability to prioritise workloads If you are a skilled Credit Controller with a passion for financial management and process improvement, this role could be the perfect fit for you.
