Bookkeeper

Bookkeeper required. My client is a well-established firm of chartered accounts based in Harrow, who provide a range of services to their clients, from bookkeeping and general accountancy to business planning and fantastic tax advice. Bookkeeper Job Overview Enter correct data into financial records and recognise/correct errors Process payments, invoices, income and receipts while entering data into accounting software Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements for clients Handle general adhoc duties as and when they are required Work as part of a team to ensure all VAT returns are completed and filed Prepare quarterly, monthly and annual VAT reconciliations The ideal candidate will have 3+ years' previous experience working in an accountancy practice, and will be at a minimum AAT L3 qualified. Bookkeeper Job Requirements Candidates must be AAT qualified and have previous experience working in a similar role Previous double-entry bookkeeping experience Previous experience using Xero Previous experience working in an accountancy practice Excellent verbal and written communication skills The successful applicant must maintain a high level of services, providing clients with a five-star service at all times.
