Trainee Lab Assistant

Our client is a market leading manufacturing business in Team Valley who are going through a period of planned expansion. The company are looking to recruit a laboratory assistant to work on a permanent basis.

The Quality Control Analyst will be responsible for the testing and production of data to comply with exacting quality standards. you would be responsible for the testing and reporting of all issues within the area of the Quality Laboratory. This includes written and verbal reports to the Production Manager, Sensor Product Quality and Improvements Technician and across the organisation according to the defined report structures and processes.

Previous laboratory experience is not essential however an interest in Chemistry and lab work would be preferred. The Company are prepared to fully train.

Hours of work are 7.30am-4pm with a 1.30pm finish on a Friday. There may be some flexibility required on occasions in relation to start times.

This is a permanent job after a successful period of 12 weeks. The pay rate moves from £11.44 to £12.93 once permanent.
