Quality Manager

Quality Manager Location: Blackburn Salary: UP TO £55,000 Full-time, Permanent Are you an experienced Quality Manager looking for an exciting challenge in a fast-paced FMCG environment? Do you have a passion for driving continuous improvement and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety? If so, we want to hear from you! My client is a leading player in the FMCG industry, and we're looking for a dynamic Quality Manager to lead their quality assurance and control functions at my clients Blackburn manufacturing site. This is a key role where you'll be responsible for ensuring our products meet customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead the implementation and maintenance of our Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO, and other standards. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including HACCP and GMP. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce defects using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies. Oversee day-to-day quality control operations, ensuring consistent product quality from raw materials through to finished goods. Lead external audits (ISO 9001, customer audits) and manage supplier quality programs. Investigate customer complaints, ensuring timely resolution and corrective actions. Train and develop staff on quality systems and promote a culture of quality across the organization.What We're Looking For: Degree in Food Science, Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline. Proven experience in a Quality Manager role within an FMCG manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, and GMP standards. Experience leading audits, managing quality teams, and driving continuous improvement.
