Remuneration

* Salary: £27,000 - £35,000

* Annual performance-related bonuses

* 25 days holiday + bank holidays

Responsibilities

* Managing and overseeing the import and export of goods from various global locations.

* Organizing the collection process with designated transportation firms.

* Collaborating closely with clients, branch offices, international agents, and transportation providers, among other partners.

* Delivering exceptional customer service by addressing queries and providing timely updates.

* Overseeing order tracking, invoicing, and managing pre-alerts from overseas offices and agents.

* Handling Customs entries as required.

* Monitoring shipments until final delivery.

* Managing job costing and invoicing duties.

Requirements

* At least two years' experience with a UK-based freight forwarding company.

* Experience in import or export operations, including air, road, or ocean shipments.

* Strong knowledge of customs clearance procedures.

* Practical experience with freight-related software such as Cargowise, Multifreight, etc.

* Outstanding customer service skills
